This complete guide is the pillar. Child articles list only publicly identifiable places. Counts are honest: we do not pad restaurants or museums to ten. Pages are written to read on a phone, without photos for now.

How to spend time in Sarandë

Sarandë is a horseshoe harbour town facing Corfu: a promenade, terraces down to the water, ferry traffic, and a memory of Forty Saints. Ksamil and Butrint are nearby — they are not in-town beaches with different names.

Long south from Tirana via Gjirokastër or via Llogara and the Riviera. The Corfu ferry is a real arrival. The centre is steep: harbour, promenade, hotel terraces. Keep the URL spelling saranda.

May, June, September for swimming without the crush. July–August the promenade is a crowd. Winter is a different, quieter town. Butrint needs its own morning.

Ksamil is a separate cluster under /beach/ksamili/. Blue Eye is inland. Do not invent ten famous people from this harbour; the skip list includes famous-people on purpose.

Ksamil, Butrint and Gjirokastër are the usual next clicks; the promenade is the in-town spine.

Start with things to do, food in restaurants, beds in where to stay.

Harbour town, not a museum capital

Sleep near the promenade if you came for water and ferries. The hills are hotels and views. Butrint is a trip, not a suburb stroll.

Corfu is a timetable

Ferry nights fill rooms. Greek time, Albanian time, queues.

In-town beach versus Ksamil

Saranda has urban swimming. The four islands are a different article.

Lekursi is the balcony

The castle above town is a sunset, a beer, a view back to Corfu — then leave it to dinner.
